Fun in St. Bartholomew's Church April 20th 2013

The Unbearable Pleasure of Being a Woman

What an enjoyable evening was had in Orford Church on April 20th when two attractive and talented young ladies had the audience laughing and applauding their performance of songs describing The Unbearable Pleasure of Being a Woman. Mixing comedy with some very well presented show tunes they had the audience demanding an encore after songs from Les Miserable, Chess and the hilarious Victoria Wood classic the Ballad of Barry and Freda. Highlight of the evening was the audience singing along with the self penned song about a certain type of ladies undergarment.

Despite a small turnout on the evening Jazz at The Pavilion will be donating £250 to the Thomas Marshall Education Fund.

Thanks are due to Mike Woollard and Nick Edgerton for the light and sound, Wendy and Guy Marshall for running a great bar and Pat Walker and Amy Fellows for generally helping to make the evening go well.
